THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Step 1 – We understand your hiring needs

We find out more about your school or group of schools, the location, the vacancies, the salaries and packages, the visa requirements, the qualification requirements, your candidate preferences and your company’s ethos and culture.

We will then run all of this information through our comprehensive database, advertise your vacancy and identify the best matching talents.

All vacancies are advertised on our recruitment website, our social media channels and shared with our extensive network of professionals worldwide to give your vacancy the maximum targeted exposure.

Step 2 – We screen and check all candidates

At BBD, we receive over 1,500 applications monthly. All candidate CV’s are screened and an average of 40% of the CV’s are selected for further screening through pre-interviews by our team of recruiters who are qualified and experienced educators.

We check on:

  • experience and qualifications
  • work history
  • family status, children, pets, health and medical needs and special requirements
  • references and background checks
  • documents and attestations

On average, we progress with 20%-25% of the candidates we pre-screen, in order to ensure the perfect match to the vacancy.

Step 3 – We match candidates and set up face-to-face interviews

At BBD, we ensure we offer you the right candidate for the right position. We work in closely with your hiring manager and review candidates and their profiles to match each one to the right vacancy.

Once the right match is found, the candidate receives thorough information on the role and the company. Upon candidate approval, the CV is sent to you accompanied with pre-screening notes from our recruitment team.

After you review the CV and profile and decide to interview, we liaise with the candidate and send you both an interview confirmation email with all the necessary details.

 

Step 4 – Interview, offer and support

Before the interview takes place, we invite all candidates to take a psychometric assessment. This will enable you, should you wish to do so, to purchase the report before taking the final hiring decision. This along with our expert opinion, provides a deeper insight to the person you’re hiring to ensure they match on every aspect of their personality. After you interview and decide which candidate you are going to extend an offer to, we will send the offer to the candidate on your behalf in order to be able to answer queries. We establish a very good relationship with candidates throughout the recruitment process and this enables us to play a valuable role when the job offer is discussed.

Once the offer is signed and sent back to us, we forward it to you together with all documents we have collected and the candidate’s references. You then communicate directly with the selected candidate to start the visa and relocation process.
