POLICE CLEARANCE AND EQUIVALENCY IN THE UAE

Congratulations you have secured your dream role in the UAE!  This section guides you through the equivalency process which is relevant to you obtaining your work permit.

In order to be an “Ministry Of Education (MOE) Approved Teacher” and be able to work in a school in UAE, you need to apply for:

1. MOE Certificate Equivalency (you can apply through the link provided below)
2. Police Clearance Certificate (Good Conduct Certificate).

Certificate/Diploma Equivalency:

For Certificate/Diploma Equivalency, you need to do the following:

1. Create an online account and log on to the website
2. Fill in e-application and visit Customer Happiness Center
3. Pay fees (self) (100 Dhs for Bachelors, 150 Dhs Masters, 200 Dhs Doctorates)
4. Submit the required documents
5. The application is received, documents checked and data saved onto the system.
6. The specialist, if need, sends a correspondence to the Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs
7. Once they receive a response, they assign it to the Committee
8. Equalize/Reject decision is taken
9. You receive the E-equivalency by mail if approved.
